How to Make Classic Coleslaw

This Classic Coleslaw recipe is so simple to whip up and adds a burst of freshness and welcome crunch to any cookout. I love to make this when we’re having bbq for dinner. Something about the mix of the tangy slaw with sweet bbq sauce is just so dang good!

To make this recipe, all you have to do is mix up all of the ingredients in a bowl, and let it sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving. I like to use this patterned mixing bowl because it comes with a lid for easy storage and transport. I also like to use bring this cute serving spoon along if I’m bringing this as a side dish to a friend’s house

What to Serve with Coleslaw

Coleslaw and bbq are the perfect match. Smoky flavors pair so well with creamy and bright coleslaw. I truly think any grilled meat is better with a side of coleslaw.

Serve this dish on the side when you make Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Legs , or Sheet Pan BBQ Chicken with Corn and Potato Wedges, or throw it on top of Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Sandwiches.

My family’s favorite. I personally am a cole slaw “snob”. I absolutely love a good one and am very picky cause it has to be a good one. This is absolutely amazing.
