Hawaiian Mac Salad

Hawaiian Mac Salad pairs tender macaroni with a creamy, slightly sweet dressing for a classic island-style side dish.

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz dry elbow macaroni noodles
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 3 tbs grated onion
  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar

Dressing:

  • 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbs milk
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions 

  • To a large pot of boiling water on the stove add the pasta and cook according to the box instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool down.
  • Add pasta to a large bowl add the grated carrot, onion, and apple cider vinegar in the bowl. Stir well. Set to the side.
  • To a small bowl add all of the dressing ingredients and whisk to combine. Add this dressing into the bowl with the pasta. Stir to combine the ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Enjoy!
