Can I use homemade whipped cream?
If you want to get the best results out of this recipe I would suggest using a store bought whipping topping. However if you want to use homemade whipped cream, I would suggest using powdered sugar with the heavy cream instead of granulated sugar since that will be the best way to stablize the whipped topping. Then use a stand mixer or electric mixer and whip everthing until they form stiff peaks.
