Tips for the Best Bacon and Egg Casserole

  • Cook the bacon before adding it so you get plenty of bacon flavor without excess grease in the casserole.
  • Whisk the eggs and Bisquick well so the mixture cooks evenly.
  • Start checking toward the lower end of the cooking range because every slow cooker heats a little differently.
  • The casserole is done when the eggs in the center are fully set.

If you’d rather serve potatoes separately, my Crockpot Breakfast Potatoes are an easy side that can feed a crowd.

What to Serve With Bacon and Egg Casserole

Serve this casserole with fruit, toast, or breakfast potatoes for an easy complete meal. If you want something sweet on the table too, my Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast Casserole makes a great sweet-and-savory brunch combination.
