Main Ingredients

  • Pork Chops: Boneless chops bake until juicy and tender in the creamy sauce.
  • Rice: Jasmine rice bakes up fluffy and soaks in all the flavor.
  • Cream Soups: Cream of chicken and cream of mushroom with roasted garlic make the sauce rich and savory.
  • Chicken Broth: Adds moisture (and nutrition) so the rice cooks perfectly.
  • Onion Soup Mix: A packet of Lipton onion soup mix packs in bold flavor with no effort.

  • Soup: Swap cream of mushroom with cream of celery for a different flavor.

My Pro TipS

Tips and Tricks

  • Don’t peek while it bakes—trapped steam is key for fluffy rice and what actually cooks the rice.
  • Boneless pork chops work best for even cooking.
  • Cover tightly with foil to lock in moisture.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving for the best texture and moisture retention.

Recipe FAQs

Can I use a different rice?

Yes—long-grain white rice works, but don’t use instant rice or it will overcook.

Can I make this ahead?

Yes—assemble in the morning, cover, and refrigerate. Bake in the evening.

Can I freeze it?

Yes—bake first, cool completely, then freeze up to 2 months.

Can I use bone-in pork chops?

Yes, but you may need a little extra bake time for them to become tender.

Serving Suggestions
